Budget Food Parcels
Our fee for service food parcels is one way that we can raise financial funds to assist the free aid that QLD Food Bank provide and will provide the community. We don't want to rely on yearly grants and wish to be as sustainable as we can so that we can be consistent for the community.
We are committed to providing food for our community by giving people a ‘hand up’ and not a ‘hand out’. Our food is sourced from well known supermarkets, wholesalers, national distributors and a number of farmers.
We are deeply grateful to all our supporters, manufactures, and suppliers
Short dated items from distributors and manufacturers are welcome.
We want to build hope and a way that community members who can afford to help themselves get the opportunity to be independent and sustainable. This program is all about providing anyone including limited income earners with a choice, and a chance to care for themselves, in turn restoring their dignity and re-connecting them with society.
Our service means people can shop, not needing to feel ashamed and feeling like they are truly looking after themselves. The non-perishable and perishable products are sourced form wholesalers and manufacture partners.
The food will be sold at either at wholesale prices to shoppers, often three to four times less than they appear on shelves in chain supermarkets and independent stores.
Shoppers will not be required to show a pension or concession card like other services - which is our big point of difference.
In addition to helping individuals, the program will also assist charitable organisations across the region by allowing them to purchase their food, hampers or vouchers at a low price.
Our Food Parcels are designed to help take the stress away from your shopping budget.
We are proud of the fact that all the food we put together in our Food Parcels is always in date and full of quality. We aim to provide our customers with a wide range of food that will help every type of family within every budget.
Our Food Parcels change constantly.
The reason for this is because of the large volume of hampers that we provide on a routine basis and we simply run out of some products. We always want to give you the best value for your money, so as one product runs out, we will add another product to the following scheduled parcel.
Parcels are made to order for that weekend delivery.
What you see on Facebook, is what is available for that week coming. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the exact same products in the next weeks parcels for the reasons stated above.
We pride ourselves on the partners we align ourselves with - this is why we have a trusted logistics partner which is also 100% family owned and accredited in driver safety and food safety.
