QLD FOOD BANK - FOOD PARCELS BUDGET FOOD PARCELS

QLD Food Bank works with local producers, supermarkets, and distrinution centres to purchase surplus.

We also at present pay for all costs associated with running and storing of aid to this present day out of the pockets of the founders.

   

QLD FOOD BANK - FOOD PARCELS WORKPLACE PANTRY FILLING PROGRAM

This is a new concept Idea which we are looking to launch in Brisbane & Gold Coast in 2018 when we secure the numbers. The lucky number we are aiming for is 100 business parcels a week between the 2 regions. This will generate the abilities to give free food from us to some worthy organisations to help them support people in need.  

 

SPECIAL CHRISTMAS HAMPERS

QLD Food Bank plan to BUY BULK & prepare and sell Special Christmas Hampers during December each year.  These special hampers contain many items to brighten the lives of families on a budget. We will be offering direct debit program commencing January of each year for 45 weeks for families to pay off their Christmas parcels, and they will be ready for collection prior to Christmas each year. Again this program funds our costs helping the community.

We will be utilising direct debit program from January 2018 - to assist all people to budget to be able to afford this nutritional service and providing the opportunity for families to get value for money on a budget.

What you will get in December:

- Fruit/Veg Parcel

- Combo Parcel

- Snack Parcel

- Meat Parcel

 

Total Costs:

45 weeks @ $7.82 per week payment (not including surcharge by 3rd party direct debit program which payment is taken by).

HOMELESS

QLD Food Bank distribute food items and hygiene items to local Hostels, shelters and community events that supply services for the homeless

These items are purchased from a portion of QLD FOOD BANKs profits, we purchase from or approved suppliers who are a part of our social responsible network.

 

 

 

EMERGENCY RELIEF 

QLD Food Bank is always ready to support any situation where food is required within our regions.  Since our inception in 2017 we have supported many communities within our region that have been affected by natual disaster including Cyclone Debbie.

 

 

RED25 PROGRAM

A LIFE-SAVING SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROGRAM THAT EVERYBODY CAN BE PROUD OF. Red25 is a unique giving program by the Australian Red Cross Blood Service. Together, Red25 members work towards ensuring that 25% of Australia's blood donations are secured. You and your organisation can help Red25 achieve this goal.
